Right up front we need to admit we’re about five months late on this. Sorry about that. It wasn’t because of ace statistician Paula North, but a variety of other non-related factors.
Next, we find these stats fascinating and necessary as we try to stay in tune with you, the involved reader. Of course there’s no direct correlation between those of you brave enough to fill out the survey and our overall readership, but it’s our best statistical insight into everyone, as it has been these many years. Thanks for taking the time to participate.
And now, on with the stats!

Statistical Breakdown
· For the first time since our existence, the 18-23 year-olds dipped out of the top two spots. Is this because that age group is especially involved in the social networking sites? Is this because our readership is aging with the zine, and we’re not replacing those initial readers with equivalent younger readers?
· Of all our respondents, the biggest groupings were 31-40 year olds who had been reading for 2-3 years (9%), 24-30 year olds who had been reading 4-5 years (8%), 18-23 year olds who had been reading 2-3 years (7%), and 41-50 year olds who had been reading 1+ years (7%).
