There are often times when I wonder if God is hiding. Stepping aside and concealing traceable fragments of His existence, he asks ‘Do you believe I am here?’ I would very much like to say that, without swerving, I do. It is not as simple as I often assume it to be.

Imagine walking along and seeing several cute, little, fat birds dressed in outfits of pastel colors perched on a dead tree limb. You acknowledge the birds and smile a bit at the absurdity of birds wearing clothes. As you turn to walk away, you are attacked from behind by sharp fangs. The sting of poison begins attacking your system. Too late, you realize that the birds were actually coiled rattlesnakes masquerading as harmless birds.

The very fact that you are now online and reading this article tells me that you have undoubtedly used software, computers, and in general, 'hi-tech gadgetry'. Web browsers and word processors, palmtops and flatbed scanners, cell phones and digital cameras, even microwaves and bread makers are examples of technology that have found their way into our workplaces and homes.
Finding single women in the Bible is a challenge! When I was asked to speak to the single women at my church, this idea somehow came to me. I began researching, not knowing how many I would even find.

He’s confused and annoyed, said one friend. He isn’t sure what he’s going to do with his life now that he’s graduated, said another. He’s questioning everything, that’s why he said those things, added a third. Fair enough. I’ve been there. Graduate from university and expect the world to shower you with endless offers of glory jobs. Didn’t happen to me either.
