For instance, while we’ve offered an All Fiction Issue back in September, 2002, we’ve never offered a specific mix of literary essays and original fiction in one issue like this week. While most indicators point to Apostolics reading more than the average American, rarely do we have a chance to create a conversation on the topic. Yet, if we decry our lack of participation in the arts (outside of Christian music) and its subsequent influence on the greater world, perhaps its because we don’t offer our artists a chance to be heard. We’re offering that chance. Even if Lit’s not your thing, won’t you at least give it a shot this week?
