Winterfire 2007 was a conference anointed by the Lord Jesus Christ to provide strategic direction and relevant messages to a united group of Apostolics. Held February 15 -17, 2007 in Bloomfield, CT, it was a meeting of destiny and a harbinger of hope to a mission field on the verge of a breakthrough--the Northeast U.S.A. The results of the conference were true to what the Winterfire website stated as follows:
How often do you have a chance to hear an address by the Nobel Laureate of literature? Not every day in my world, so this week I was all too anxious to attend a special presentation of Washington University’s International Humanities Prize to Turkish novelist Orhan Pamuk, 2006’s Nobel Laureate.
If I could summarize Consecration 2006’s effectiveness in one sentence, I would say: Mark Johnston is one of the few Apostolic preachers that I have heard preach mercy, and it convicted me to action instead of patting my own righteous back.
I have found it amazing that most people cannot locate Honduras on a map of the Americas, let alone the world. Located in Central America between Guatemala, Nicaragua, and El Salvador, Honduras is experiencing great revival right now. Many different youth and missions groups have gone to Honduras in the last year. I was privileged to be a part of the Missouri Youth on Missions (MO YOM) trip that visited Honduras August 8-14, 2006.
Over the last decade, Australian Youth Missions (AYM) has worked in collaboration with the Overseas Missions Department of the United Pentecostal Church of Australia (UPCA) to send evangelistic youth teams into our mission field of Indonesia. God has blessed these ventures and our youth have been a tremendous encouragement to the churches, and more specifically the youth of Indonesia.
Have you ever considered going to three foreign countries within eight days? I would suggest taking on New York City, instead. You will probably know the language and recognize most of the customs, but you will never be the same.

The 92nd annual camp meeting of the Louisiana District UPC was held at the campgrounds in Tioga, Louisiana, from July 2 – July 6, 2006. The thousands of attendees were blessed by anointed singing, and especially by anointed preaching. Here are comments from a few of the sermons.

I went to my first Summons to Sacrifice Prayer Conference from June 8-10, 2006 at the St. Louis Airport Renaissance Hotel in St. Louis, and it was not what I had expected. I don’t know why but I thought it would be boring. It was definitely not boring—it was one of the most powerful conferences I have been in.
There was a Prayer Leader’s class at 3 p.m. on Thursday afternoon. People were already coming in at 10 a.m. Everyone that came was so excited and expecting great things. It seemed everyone had one thing on their mind, and that was to learn more about how to pray and to make every prayer count.

For Easter weekend 2006, three bands were invited for a Youth concert that didn’t end up quite like it was planned. What was planned as a Good Friday concert featuring several regional bands changed as the bands changed. A Christian rock band that does a little worship was invited, but couldn’t make it; another band lost their lead guitar player for the night because of a death in his family; yet what followed at Point of Grace Family Praise Fellowship in Madison, Indiana was simply an amazing night of music.
